Late Summer Table

An SDLR Inspired Labor Day Weekend Where Old-Fashioned Americana Meets Modern Whimsy

The art of hosting isn't about everything being perfectly curated. It's about making people feel truly seen and inviting them in. Creating a feeling and allowing everyone to step into a moment, just for them, outside of the ordinary. This season, we're living for thoughtful touches and slightly undone details.

Inspired by coastal Americana, we’re sharing a little guide to hosting your own late summer gathering, with all the details to make the long weekend feel a little more special.

01. The Table Scape
Mismatched crystal glasses. Tomatoes and hydrangeas spilling across the table as decor. A film photo of the table after dessert with all the dishes stacked high.

02. The Food
A sweet homemade ice cream with peaches with a chilled glass of Beso Besa, mini hot dogs with caviar alongside Neue Brut. The kind of dishes pulled from generations of handwritten, perfected recipes familiar and reminiscent of late summer by the coast.

03. The Guests
There is something special about receiving an invitation in the mail. A small hand crafted detail that sets the scene before guests gather for en evening filled with new memories.

Society De La Rassi was built from a desire to be seen. The entire experience for us is about creating a moment that serves as a bridge and invites everyone to step into our world, even if only for a fleeting moment in time.
