The art of hosting is about making people feel truly seen and inviting them in. Creating a feeling and allowing everyone to step into a moment outside of the ordinary. In this late summer season, we're living for the slightly undone details.

As we approach Labor Day weekend, we're leaning into the details that inspire the Society. A dreamy late summer afternoon on the East Coast, gathered around a table filled with foods that mirror the late summer nostalgia.

Inspired by coastal Americana, we’re sharing a little guide to hosting your own late summer gathering, with all the details to make the long weekend feel a little more special.

01. The Table Scape
Mismatched crystal glasses. Tomatoes and hydrangeas spread across the table as decor. A film photo of the table after dessert with all the dishes stacked high.

02. The Food
A sweet homemade ice cream with peaches with a chilled glass of Beso Besa, or mini hot dogs with caviar alongside Neue Brut. Dishes pulled from generations of handwritten recipes reminiscent of late summer by the coast.

03. The Guests
The unexpected surprise of receiving an invitation in the mail. A small hand made detail that sets the tone before guests arrive for en evening filled with new memories.

Society De La Rassi was built from a desire to be seen. Each experience is meant to create a moment where even for just a fleeting moment in time invites everyone to step into our world.
